Houserules

To ensure every visitor has a pleasant and safe experience, we ask you to follow the house rules. Together, we create a welcoming environment for everyone.

    • Be considerate of other visitors and respect their presence.
    • Always follow the instructions of staff members.
    • Lost and found items must be handed in at the information desk.
    • Lockers must be emptied after use.
    • Geusseltbad is not responsible for loss, damage, theft, or injuries.
    • Emergency exits may only be used in case of an emergency.
    • Misuse of emergency exits and fire alarms is strictly prohibited.
    • Geusseltbad and Sportpark Geusselt-Noord are completely smoke-free (including e-cigarettes and shisha).
    • The use of drugs and alcohol is prohibited.
    • Pets are not allowed.
    • Guide dogs and assistance dogs may enter the main hall under certain conditions. Please report at the information desk.
    • Taking photos and videos in the swimming pool and on the sunbathing area in the outdoor pool is not allowed. For exceptions, please contact us in advance.
    • Food and drinks may only be consumed in the catering areas or on the sunbathing area in the outdoor pool (if open). Eating and drinking are not allowed around the pools and in the changing rooms.
    • Shoes are not allowed in the "wet area" of the swimming pool.
    • From the "barefoot zone," you may only walk barefoot, wear slippers, or use shoe covers.
    • In the water of our pools, only swimwear (including burkinis) made from special swimwear fabrics is allowed. No shorts, caps, or other clothing items.
    • Running around the pools is not allowed.
    • Follow the instructions for attractions such as the slide and diving boards.
    • Diving is only allowed in water deeper than 1.40 meters.
    • Teaching or training during public hours is permitted only by Geusseltbad employees.
    • Children or persons who cannot swim are not allowed in water deeper than chest height.
    • Children without a swimming diploma must wear inflatables (swimming bands of -wings) and must always be accompanied by an adult who can swim.
    • Hard play materials (frisbees, tennis balls) are only allowed on the sunbathing area in the outdoor pool.
    • Geusseltbad reserves the right to refuse self-brought play materials.
    • Radios and breakable objects (glassware, bottles, etc.) are not allowed.
    • The police will always be contacted in the event of criminal offenses.
    • Violation of the house rules may result in denial of access to Geusseltbad. You won't get a refund.
